“Our safety, our liberty, depends upon preserving the Constitution of
the United States as our fathers made it inviolate. The people of the United States are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution. ”

― Abraham Lincoln

To Change The Constitution?

Yes, times have changed and will continue to change. What of tomorrow? The constitution is manifest in the laws of nature and the nature of man, not prevailing times, fads or even governments. Those who seek to change the constitution have ulterior if not sinister motives, most likely to dominate the will and collect what little wealth the common man may possess.

Reaffirming The Republic

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the democracy for which it stands.... Wait a minute, the United States of America are not a democracy, they are a republic! Yes, it’s the United States of America are, not the United States of America is. But that’s another topic for another day. At this point we need to understand the difference between a democracy and a republic. It all has to do with what rights you have and where you derive those rights from. It also has to do with what rights can be voted away from you by a majority of the voting public. In a democracy any or all of your rights including those derived through your ownership of property can and eventually will be voted away. In a republic you have certain unalienable rights along with rights you obtain from ownership of property those rights can not be voted on, questioned amended or usurped by any branch of government or any voting body. You are the highest authority in matters concerning any or all of your property. Be it as insignificant as a pencil in your pocket, a thought rendered to paper or as considerable as the home you live in. You are the highest authority. The United States of America has many problems and challenges today, these challenges are being compounded by an unconstitutional government. The answers are in the constitution! We the people must read and discus the constitution and it’s supporting documents as a starting point to reaffirming it’s powers, it’s privileges, and returning The United States of America to the republic it was born to be.

Amendment XXVI*

Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.

Section 2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

 *The Twenty-Sixth Amendment was ratified July1, 1971.

With all due respect to our citizens between the ages of Eighteen and Twenty-one, the soliloquy offered by politicians to their merit, and the colloquialisms offered in the support of their adult status, I must submit that the Twenty-Sixth Amendment be repealed and we return to the previous Amendments XV, XIX and as submitted in the Constitution, Persons Twenty-one years of age and older shall be eligible to vote.

Better judgment dictates that the age be raised to Thirty-five and older, given the state of the union, but that remains a matter for a less pressing time.

The argument would be: The last two elections.

The essence is: Being that voters can be manipulated with toys of passing fancy and ideas not yet grasped by their years of experience or judgment. Modern day politicians play the Facebook game with sinister motives and the young participants are led to life, national and everlasting decisions that lead to the destruction of our Constitution and what rights and liberties we still have left. They are led there easily because of the intentional, inferior education offered up by the establishment on matters that compel us all and preserve our way of life and history.

An extremely complicated tax structure is beneficial to the government and especially to the members of the various tax committees and bureaucratic departments.

More than 50% of Americans do not pay taxes! You may think of this fifty percent as the poor or disabled individual that doesn’t make enough money to secure a seat on the tax rolls. Unfortunately, you would be mistaken. Many very rich individuals and corporations enjoy a tax free environment by skillfully manipulating the many tax loopholes provided by this very complicated tax structure. Employing high priced tax attorneys and hobnobbing with the right government officials, renders them tax exempt without actually obtaining tax exempt status. On the other side of the tax coin, as it were, the other 40 some percent pay an exorbitant amount to sustain our government in the lavish lifestyle which they have so flagrantly become accustom to.

I am speaking of taxes on the federal level, commonly known as “Income Tax” but as we all know, federal taxes reach much deeper than just your income.

On the local level, virtually everything you own, eat or feed has supplemented your government through taxation. Try to find something in your home that has not been taxed. You can’t, because there is nothing!

Back to the Feds; the problem is not income for the government but, as we all know, lavish spending is the culprit. I could go on for many pages trying to explain lavish government spending, waste, fraud and corruption but that would squander precious space and time. For those that understand, no explanation is necessary, for those that don’t understand, no explanation is possible!

Have you tried to access your government lately? Having a meaningful conversation with anyone remotely connected to a political office is paramount to impossible. Having a conversation with the IRS about your unpaid taxes is swift, forceful and bound tightly to whatever property you may possess. This is the modern day equivalent to “Taxation without Representation.”

Why is the tax structure so convoluted, because that’s the way they [IRS] want it! Many high priced lawyers, corporations and politicians are making huge sums of money applying the tax code to those that have purchased their services. Enough said!

My idea to solve the crises is simple. It will never be implemented because there is no way for the corrupt to make money, but I’ll throw it up for discussion anyway.

Population of the U.S. is 313 million. My proposed tax rate is 4%. Everyone that receives any monies pays 4% to fund the government. Everyone pays taxes, no exemptions, no loop holes! Examples; Indian casinos make billions annually but pay no taxes; they should rightfully pay 4%, churches receive millions each year and are tax exempt; 4%. Every type of non-profit organization from selling food in preparation for the end of the world to studying the sex life of the Teetsi fly exists and they could easily afford 4%. Welfare checks; 4%, unemployment; 4%, income; 4% etc. There would be no need for the IRS as we know it. 4% would be deducted at the source and sent to the government.

The idea here is that 4% of everything is more than sufficient to operate a legitimate government, the operative word being legitimate. As it is, forty some percent pay upwards of 35% and that can’t quench the thirst or lust of a corrupt and unconstitutional governing body.

Simple ideas are the best and most dangerous, but leave little opportunity for corruption, intended or otherwise.
